Harbor Springs, Michigan

Harbor Springs is a community that has been welcoming visitors since the late 1880s - year after year and generation after generation - because this is a special place filled with natural beauty.

With the natural deep harbor, Harbor Springs had large steamships bringing passengers in the past. Now it is a fabulous playground- with water sports:  sail and motor boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing - and land sports: golfing, hiking, exploring. Downtown Harbor Springs sits along the waterfront with shops and restaurants just steps away from a picnic table along the harbor.

Harbor Springs is a year 'round destination. Spring is the season for finding morels and viewing the spectacular display of trillium. Summer -- with sunsets at 10 p.m., beach days, hiking, biking, golfing, dining, shopping, and boating.  While Harbor Springs is a place where many choose to spend only their summers, it is also a place many are fortunate enough to call home all year. Fall brings some of the most spectacular foliage imaginable. Winter brings crisp, white snow just perfect for snow sports at our ski resorts and snow play in the woods on snowmobiles, snow shoes, and cross country skis.
