Susan, a native Michigander, has been coming to the Harbor Springs area since she was a child - particularly for downhill skiing. Upon selling their inn in 2004, Susan and her husband chose to relocate to the Harbor Springs area, which reminds them of the beauty of Saugatuck, but has more to offer. She is delighted to call Harbor Springs home.
In various ways, Susan has been active in real estate for many years. With her husband, they owned and managed rental properties in Chicago's North Shore area. They have also done rehabbing to vintage buildings, including their own homes. Leaving the big city and corporate world behind, they embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure as they purchased a 17-room inn in Saugatuck, MI. They loved the small artist community and enjoyed the life of innkeepers until they sold the property. These experiences fit well with the real estate business. Having a strong corporate background with firms specializing in technology, Susan has the expertise needed to utilize all of the technological tools available to the real estate professional today. Her experiences have yielded much praise from associates, clients and suppliers for her attention to detail, friendly nature and her management ability. Her love of the area combined with an interest in people, and a history of satisfied clients, makes her ideal for helping you meet your real estate needs.
When Susan has the opportunity to take a break from her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends enjoying the great outdoors with golf, skiing, hiking, snow shoeing, biking and traveling. She also enjoys exploring various culinary adventures and gardening. Though they enjoy all the amenities offered by the greater Harbor Springs area they have particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the active Harbor Springs community. They are privileged to support many of the local charity groups including the Harbor Springs Historical Society, Crooked Tree Arts Center, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of Northern Michigan and Woman's Resource Center.
